Harmonizing
the World

Pacific Sound is
a championship chorus of over 90 talented women—from all over the Puget
Sound area—who share a love of singing and are always striving for musical
excellence!
Pacific Sound is directed by Susan Kegley. Susan is a founding member of Pacific Sound, has been a
member of Sweet Adelines International for more than 25 years, and has a
huge array of accomplishments to her name. For more information about

Each spring,
North Pacific Region 13 holds its annual Convention and Competition, which
are important events in the life of a Sweet Adelines chorus. Pacific Sound
is no exception: we love to compete and are the 2007 First Place Region 13
Chorus! It's an exciting performance
opportunity and an educational experience for each performer as we look
forward to competing at the
2008 International
Convention in Honolulu, Hawaii next November.
Our
quest for musical excellence has led us to great successes at
competitions...our very first in 1990 was grand indeed! We boasted 26
members (including the director!), placed second over-all and won the
First Place Small Chorus Award.
Since that first
regional competition, Pacific Sound has gone on to win the contest and to
compete at international competition seven times: Baltimore in 1992 (20th
place), Fort Lauderdale in 1996 (9th place), Nashville in 1998 (5th
place), Orlando in 2000 (3rd place), Nashville again in 2002 (5th place, Indianapolis in 2004 (6th place),
and Las Vegas in 2006 (8th place). |
